JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Microbiologist to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting microbiological testing, sample handling, laboratory documentation, quality control activities and maintaining proper laboratory practices. This is a suitable opportunity for freshers who are looking to build their career in Microbiology, Quality Control, Laboratory Operations and the Ayurvedic / FMCG / Personal Care industry. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform routine microbiological testing of raw materials, finished products, water, and other relevant samples as per established procedures. • Collect, receive, label, prepare, and maintain microbiological samples properly. • Perform microbial analysis including microbial limit testing and other applicable microbiological tests. • Assist in testing for bacteria, yeast, mould and other microorganisms as required. • Maintain laboratory records, test reports, worksheets and other microbiology-related documentation. • Prepare and maintain culture media, reagents and laboratory solutions as per approved procedures. • Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness and good laboratory practices within the microbiology laboratory. • Ensure proper handling, storage and disposal of microbiological samples and laboratory waste. • Support environmental monitoring and microbiological monitoring activities wherever required. • Coordinate with the Quality Control, Production, R&D, Warehouse and other concerned departments. • Report any abnormal test results, contamination or deviations to the concerned senior/team member. • Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment, instruments and microbiology-related inventory. • Follow company SOPs, quality standards, safety procedures and documentation requirements. • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of laboratory data and records. • Support internal and external testing requirements whenever required.   REQUIRED QUALIFICATION • B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or a related field. • Freshers are welcome to apply. • Basic knowledge of microbiology laboratory techniques. • Basic understanding of microbial testing and laboratory procedures. • Good documentation and record-keeping skills. • Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office. • Good communication and coordination skills. • Willingness to learn and work in a quality-focused environment. • Candidate should be responsible, disciplined, detail-oriented and willing to follow SOPs. PREFERRED SKILLS • Basic knowledge of culture media preparation and microbial testing. • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and laboratory practices. • Understanding of microbial limit testing will be an advantage. • Basic knowledge of laboratory safety and hygiene procedures. • Good analytical and observation skills. • Ability to maintain accurate laboratory records. • Ability to coordinate effectively with different departments. CANDIDATE PROFILE We are looking for a fresher who has a strong interest in microbiology and laboratory operations and is willing to develop a career in Quality Control, Microbiology, Research & Development and the Ayurvedic / FMCG / Personal Care industry. Candidates from Faridabad and nearby locations will be preferred due to the job location.
