Senior Merchandiser & Product Developer

About the job:Key responsibilities:

1. Manage the end-to-end product development and production process.

2. Work with the design team to translate concepts into commercially viable products.

3. Handle pattern making whenever required and work closely with pattern masters/sample units.

4. Source fabrics, trims, accessories, packaging, and other materials.

5. Identify and develop new vendors and manufacturing partners.

6. Prepare costings, consumption sheets, and BOMs and ensure products meet target margins.

7. Negotiate with vendors on pricing, MOQs, quality, and timelines.

8. Manage sampling, approvals, and bulk production.

9. Track production timelines and ensure on-time delivery.

10. Conduct/Coordinate quality checks and resolve production issues.

11. Strong sourcing and vendor management skills.5. Excellent attention to detail and quality.6. Strong follow-up, communication, and problem-solving skills.7. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.8. Someone who can independently take a product from “How do we make this?” to “It’s ready for production.”9. You should be hands-on, curious, commercially aware, and obsessed with getting the details right.10.
