Requirements:

Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android architecture, and different Android versions.

Experience with building hybrid (or native iOS) applications.

Working on applications featuring multiple services and multi-threading.

Strong knowledge of Runtime Environments, Location services, Android support libraries.

Well acquainted with Android Studio and various profilers.

Strong REST fundamentals, Java, XML, JSON, Web Services, SQLite databases.

Object-oriented Java programming and multi-threading concepts.

Proficient in using data structures.

Ability to write optimized algorithms.

Strong debugging skills.

Customizing Android OS for the company's embedded gateway devices.

Hands-on experience with Android JNI and SE Linux is highly valued.
