We are hiring for SAP Functional Consultant for a Hydraulik Industry

Qualification: BE in Computer or IT / MSc Computer / MCA

Experience: 36 years

Salary: Upt to 10 Lakhs Per Annum

Location: Chennai

# SAP Process Improvement

Analyse existing business processes and identify gaps in SAP utilization.

Drive SAP adoption across Production, Quality, Procurement, Stores, Sales, Service, and Finance departments.

Ensure SAP supports business requirements and operational efficiency.

# SAP Functional Support

Provide day-to-day support for SAP modules:

1.MM (Materials Management)

2.PP (Production Planning)

3.SD (Sales & Distribution)

4.QM (Quality Management)

5.FI/CO (Finance & Controlling)

6.PM (Plant Maintenance) preferred

Resolve SAP issues within agreed timelines and coordinate with external consultants when required.

# Master Data Management

Monitor and maintain:

1.Material Masters

2.BOMs

3.Routings

4.Work Centres

5.Production Versions

6.Vendor Masters

7.Customer Masters

Ensure data accuracy and governance.

# Manufacturing Process Optimization

Improve MRP accuracy.

Improve production planning and capacity planning.

Ensure proper production confirmations.

Improve inventory accuracy and warehouse transactions.

Reduce manual Excel-based processes by utilizing SAP functionalities.

# Reporting & Analytics

Develop management dashboards and KPIs.

Generate reports for:

*Production efficiency ,Inventory aging ,Delivery performance ,COPQ ,OEE ,Procurement performance

# User Training & Compliance

Conduct user training programs.

Develop SOPs and work instructions.

Monitor SAP transaction discipline and compliance.

# Project & Implementation Support

Coordinate SAP enhancements, upgrades, and new module implementations.

Work with external SAP consultants and software vendors.

Lead business process automation initiatives.

# Strong experience in:

# PP / MM / QM / SD / FI/CO

# Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

# Strong troubleshooting and client coordination skills

# Understanding of MRP, BOMs, Routings, Production Orders, Inventory Management, and Procurement processes
