Job Summary:We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Android app developer will work with their US-based counterpart to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.This job requires both Android System and UI development competence.ResponsibilitiesDesign and build advanced applications for the Android platformCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresWork with outside data sources and APIsUnit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliabilityWork on bug fixing and improving application performanceContinuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiencyRequirementsBS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subjectProven software development experience and Android skills developmentProven working experience in Android app development andHave published at least one original Android appExperience with Android SDKExperience working with remote data via REST and JSONExperience with third-party libraries and APIsWorking knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologiesSolid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
