Position Summary

Hapnova Technologies is seeking experienced Senior Network Security Engineers to join its growing network and security practice. These positions are focused on enterprise-scale security implementations, network transformation projects, firewall deployments, load balancing solutions, and security architecture initiatives supporting mission-critical business environments.

Detailed Job Description

As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, optimization, and support of enterprise network security solutions. You will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, security, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available network environments. The role requires strong hands-on expertise with firewalls, network security technologies, load balancing platforms, routing and switching infrastructure, and security best practices. Successful candidates will provide technical leadership on implementation projects, troubleshoot complex network issues, and contribute to modernization and security enhancement initiatives across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise network security architectures and solutions.

Configure, deploy, and optimize firewall, routing, switching, and load-balancing platforms.

Lead security implementation and migration projects across enterprise environments.

Troubleshoot complex network and security incidents.

Perform firewall policy design, access control reviews, and security hardening activities.

Support network transformation initiatives and infrastructure modernization programs.

Conduct security assessments and recommend improvements to enhance network resilience.

Develop technical implementation documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and reliable service delivery.

Support change management, upgrades, and security compliance initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Role 1: Senior Network Security Engineer (F5 & Firewall Specialist)

Minimum 8 years of experience in Network Security and Enterprise Network Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience implementing and configuring F5 BIG-IP solutions.

Advanced expertise in F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager).

Advanced expertise in F5 GTM/DNS (Global Traffic Manager).

Strong firewall implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience.

Experience delivering enterprise-scale network infrastructure projects.

Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and application delivery solutions.

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, SSL/TLS, and load balancing concepts.

Role 2: Senior Network Security Engineer (Routing, Switching & Firewall Specialist)

Minimum 8 years of experience in Network Security and Enterprise Networking.

Strong expertise in routing and switching technologies.

Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall implementation and configuration.

Experience with FortiGate and/or Cisco ASA firewalls.

Strong background in network design, deployment, and security architecture.

Experience configuring and optimizing proxy technologies.

Knowledge of enterprise WAN, LAN, and security infrastructure.

Strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities.

Common Qualifications for Both Roles

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in security-focused implementation and delivery projects.

Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to lead deployments and work effectively in remote environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Certifications such as F5 Certified Administrator (F5-CA), NSE, FCSS, CCNP Security, or CISSP.

Experience with cloud networking and cloud security platforms.

Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Python, or Terraform.

Exposure to Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA).
