Nurse – Job Description Organization: Classia Health / Classia Institute of Metabolic Health (CIMH) Location: Bangalore Position: Staff Nurse Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role Classia Health is looking for a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Nurse to support our metabolic health, longevity, preventive healthcare, and wellness programs. The Nurse will play a key role in monitoring members, assisting doctors, conducting basic health assessments, maintaining medical records, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all members. Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Monitoring Record and monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, SpO₂, and blood glucose. Assist in health assessments and routine clinical examinations. Monitor members during wellness and metabolic reset programs. Identify abnormal findings and immediately escalate to the attending doctor. Provide first aid and emergency support when required. Clinical Procedures Collect blood, urine, and other samples for laboratory investigations. Administer medications as prescribed by doctors. Assist doctors during consultations and procedures. Maintain infection control and hygiene standards. Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines and medical supplies. Diagnostic & Preventive Health Support Perform ECG recordings and basic patient preparation. Assist in body composition analysis, anthropometric measurements, and health screenings. Support preventive health checkups and wellness assessments. Educate members on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and follow-up care. Documentation & Records Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation. Update electronic medical records (EMR) and health monitoring systems. Ensure confidentiality of patient information. Prepare daily nursing and clinical reports. Member Experience Provide compassionate and professional care to members. Address member concerns and coordinate with doctors and care teams. Support health education sessions and wellness programs. Ensure a comfortable and positive experience for all members. Inventory & Compliance Maintain nursing station inventory and medical consumables. Monitor expiry dates of medicines and supplies. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational protocols. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Qualification B.Sc Nursing / GNM Nursing from a recognized institution. Valid Nursing Registration Certificate. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred. ACLS certification will be an added advantage. Experience 1–5 years of nursing experience in hospitals, clinics, wellness centers, or healthcare facilities. Freshers with strong clinical knowledge may also apply. Required Skills Excellent patient care and communication skills. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and clinical procedures. Basic computer and EMR documentation skills. Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently. Team-oriented and patient-centric approach. Salary As per industry standards and experience.
