About the Role

We are looking for experienced AWS Data Engineers to design, develop and maintain scalable data engineering solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in building data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows and cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS.

Develop ETL/ELT workflows using AWS Glue, Lambda, EMR and Step Functions.

Build data ingestion solutions using Kinesis, Kafka or SQS.

Design and optimize data lakes using Amazon S3, Glue Data Catalog and Lake Formation.

Develop and optimize data warehouse solutions using Amazon Redshift / Snowflake.

Implement data quality checks, monitoring, logging and production support processes.

Develop data transformation solutions using Python/PySpark and SQL.

Work with large datasets and distributed data processing frameworks.

Collaborate with data architects, analytics teams and business stakeholders.

Support CI/CD deployments and contribute to automation and DevOps practices.

Troubleshoot production issues and ensure reliable data pipelines.

Must-Have Skills

6+ years of experience in Data Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, IAM and Step Functions.

Strong programming experience in Python / PySpark.

Strong SQL and data transformation skills.

Experience with Redshift, Athena and Glue Data Catalog.

Good understanding of Apache Spark / EMR / Glue.

Strong understanding of data lakes, data warehousing and data modeling.

Experience working with cloud-based data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

Good to Have

Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.

Knowledge of Kinesis, Kafka or SQS.

Experience with CI/CD and Git.

Exposure to Snowflake.

Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.

Education

B.E / B.Tech or equivalent qualification.
