Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team in the Mumbai region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network security technologies and protocols, with a strong focus on firewall management and VPN solutions. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network security solutions using technologies such as Palo Alto, FortiGate, Check Point, and Cisco Firepower.
• Configure and manage routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP to optimize network performance and security.
• Develop and maintain VPN solutions, including IPSec and SSL VPN, to facilitate secure remote access for users.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to identify and respond to potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of network design and implementation.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders regarding network security issues.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, FortiGate, Check Point, and Cisco Firepower.
• Strong understanding of routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Experience with VPN technologies, specifically IPSec and SSL VPN.
• Familiarity with web application firewalls (WAF) and proxy solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
