About the internship:Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Plan and schedule the physical verification of fixed assets and inventory.

2. Review the fixed asset and inventory registers before conducting physical verification.

3. Verify the physical existence of assets and inventory items.

4. Check asset tags, serial numbers, and descriptions for accuracy.

5. Confirm the location and quantity of assets.

6. Assess the condition and usability of assets.

7. Identify missing, excess, damaged, or obsolete assets.

8. Verify assets against ERP records and books of accounts.

9. Record observations and document any discrepancies identified during verification.

10. Obtain confirmation from the concerned department or store officials.

11. Reconcile physical verification results with organizational records.

12. Prepare reports highlighting findings and recommend corrective actions.

13. Maintain proper audit documentation and working papers.

14.
