Quality Control Officer

Key Resposibilities:

Formulation of SOP, and implementation of the same.

Develop and implement QC procedures for all stages: raw material inspection, in-process checks, and final product evaluation.

Supervise quality inspections during cutting, stitching, printing, and finishing of jute bags.

Conduct regular sampling and quality audits on production batches.

Defect & Non-Conformance Management:

Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

Maintain records of rejected goods and coordinate with production for rework or disposal.

Skillset:

Bachelors/Diploma in Textile Technology, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

57 years of experience in quality control, preferably in jute or textile bag manufacturing.

Understanding of jute material properties and bag specifications (GSM, weave, printing adherence, stitching strength, etc.).

Familiarity with international quality standards for eco-friendly bags (e.g., ISO, SA 8000, Sedex, GOTS, etc.) is a plus.
