Walk-in || Senior Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for assigned client accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, performing reconciliations, supporting month-end closure, preparing financial reports and MIS, and ensuring timely and accurate accounting deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for assigned clients.

Maintain and review General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and journal entries.

Perform bank, vendor, customer, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

Prepare financial statements, schedules, and supporting working papers.

Prepare and review MIS reports and financial analysis as required.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and supporting documentation.

Assist with GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliance and related reconciliations.

Coordinate with clients and internal teams to obtain required information and resolve accounting-related queries.

Support audit requirements by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and necessary documentation.

Identify accounting discrepancies and assist in resolving issues on a timely basis.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.

Support process improvements and implementation of efficient accounting practices.

Provide guidance and support to junior accounting team members when required.

Qualifications & Experience

CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), M.Com, or B.Com with relevant experience.

35 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance.

Experience in Shared Services, Outsourced Accounting, BPO, GCC, or Consulting environments is preferred.

Experience in handling multiple client accounts will be an added advantage.
