About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Designer to join our world class engineering and product team to lead the design initiatives that will take Simplismart’s user experience to the next level while we rapidly scale on our journey from 10-to-100.

What's Expected of You

Develop user Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of our users: ML engineers in enterprise environments by getting your hands dirty trying their complex workflows to learn what they do and appreciate their challenges

Simplify complex technical solutions: Constantly try to cover your technical knowledge gaps with active learning to improve your understanding of the complex systems and simplify it for end users.

End-to-End UX design: Produce high quality UX designs by collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to understand technical problems and solutions, conducting research and iteratively driving projects to completion.

UX and competitor research: Plan, conduct, document and present research work related to different product areas.

Design Communication and alignment: Strong verbal communication and well structured documentation to justify design choices and handover final deliverables.

Design Systems & Process: Set up the design systems and processes to ensure quality of experience on the platform as the team and product scales and help the organisation transition to new ways of working.

AI-Augmented Work: Use AI tools effectively across all of the above, while fully owning and being accountable for all decisions made

What We're Looking For

4+ years of experience specifically as a UX designer.

Experience working in B2B SaaS products and/or products requiring complex data and system modelling.

Technical Fundamentals: Baseline understanding of how AI models and software systems work.

Technical Curiosity: Genuine desire to go deep on cloud infrastructure and AI/ML concepts

Good to Have

Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous, zero-to-one environments.

Technical background and/or Familiarity with AI/ML theory and cloud infrastructure concepts- Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD.
