System Administrator (Trainee)

We are looking for a** System Administrator** with basic hands-on experience in Microsoft 365, endpoint management, security, and Windows administration. The candidate should have strong IT fundamentals, troubleshooting skills, and an interest in learning Microsoft cloud and security technologies.

Experience: 3–6 Months

Location: Remote (Preferred candidates from Bangalore location)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage users, groups, licenses, and access in Microsoft 365 / Office 365.
• Manage and support Windows devices using Microsoft Intune.
• Handle device enrolment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and application deployment.
• Monitor endpoint security and alerts using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Manage users and groups in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Support MFA, Conditional Access, password resets, account lockouts, and access issues.
• Manage basic Exchange Online tasks, including mailboxes, shared mailboxes, and distribution groups.
• Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Windows, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Perform employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Troubleshoot laptops/desktops, software, network connectivity, and user-access issues.
• Monitor device compliance, security status, and Windows updates.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and technical documentation.
• Work with the team on endpoint security and IT infrastructure improvements.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Administration
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Intune
• Understanding of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
• Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory
• Understanding of MFA and Conditional Access
• Basic networking knowledge – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN
• Understanding of basic cybersecurity and endpoint security concepts
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills

Good to Have

• Basic PowerShell knowledge
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of Exchange Online
• Familiarity with Windows Autopilot
• Basic understanding of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
• Microsoft/Azure certification or relevant training is a plus

Qualification

B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / MCA / B.Sc. IT / Diploma in IT or a related field.
