Business Development Manager - Franchise Sales Department: Business Development and Franchise Expansion Industry: Preschool Education and Franchise Development Employment Type: Full Time Reporting To: Director - Expansion / Senior Management About the RoleOxford International Preschool is looking for an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Manager - Franchise Sales to drive franchise expansion across assigned territories. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying prospective franchise partners, generating and managing qualified leads, conducting business presentations, explaining the preschool franchise model, following up with investors, negotiating commercial terms, and successfully closing franchise agreements. The position requires strong communication, sales, negotiation, relationship management, and closing capabilities. Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new franchise leads through calling, digital enquiries, references, databases, networking, exhibitions, business events, and other approved channels. Contact prospective franchise investors and understand their investment capacity, preferred location, business background, and expected timeline. Present the Oxford International Preschool franchise business model in a professional and transparent manner. Explain the franchise proposition, infrastructure requirements, investment structure, operational model, academic support, training support, marketing support, and other applicable commercial terms. Conduct online and face-to-face business presentations with prospective franchise partners. Maintain regular follow-up with qualified prospects and move opportunities systematically through the sales pipeline. Coordinate site identification and preliminary location assessment for prospective franchise units. Work closely with the Expansion, Operations, Academic, Marketing, Legal, and Accounts teams during the franchise onboarding process. Negotiate commercial terms within the limits and policies approved by management. Close franchise opportunities and complete the required documentation and onboarding formalities. Ensure that all commitments made to prospective franchise partners are consistent with official company policies and approved commercial terms. Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, meetings, proposals, site details, negotiations, payments, and closures in the prescribed CRM or reporting system. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential franchise investors within the assigned territory. Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify potential cities, districts, and territories for expansion. Build long-term professional relationships with franchise partners and ensure a smooth handover to the relevant onboarding and operations teams after closure. Experience in preschool, school, education franchise, coaching franchise, retail franchise, or similar franchise development businesses will be preferred. MBA or postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, or a related field will be preferred but is not mandatory for candidates with strong relevant sales experience. Experience Preferred: 3 to 7 years of experience in Business Development, Franchise Sales, Education Sales, B2B Sales, or a related field. Candidates with a demonstrated record of franchise or high-value business closures will be given preference.
