Senior Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator to join our team in Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and optimizing database systems, particularly with MS SQL Server and MySQL. This role is crucial for ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our database environments. The Senior Database Administrator will be responsible for database design, implementation, migration, and production support, as well as leveraging Azure Data Factory Synapse and other Azure data services to enhance our data management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain database systems to support business applications.
• Perform database migrations and ensure data integrity during the transition process.
• Provide production support for database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and improve application performance.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices to continuously improve our database management processes.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator, with a strong focus on MS SQL Server and MySQL.
