Design Engineer (CNG & Diesel Fuel system)

Role & responsibilitiesResponsible for Design of CNG & Diesel Fuel system for SUV, UV, LCV platforms.Interact, integrate and drive results across cross functional teams in engineering, suppliers and executive leadershipWork on 3D / DMU & 2D drawing preparation in Catia V5 Surfacing & Part Modelling.Use analytical methods / benchmark or vehicle development tools, as appropriate.Familiarity with Air Intake system design calculations, participation in design reviews and preparation of design sheets, Component / part releaseMust be fully conversant in field of vehicle integration, system/aggregate design, packaging & layout preparationPreparation of DVP, CAE interaction, testing, production and field issue resolveProduct Benchmarking and comparison analysis of competitors vehicles specifications.Should have involved in weight / cost reduction opportunities through VAVE AnalysisSupport and tie up with Proto type development and vehicle testing team for durability and performance testing for pre-series/pilot batch vehiclesShould have knowledge of component level & vehicle level validation activities.Proactively resolve concern/issues occurred during the validation/production/coming under warranty.Interact and conduct technical reviews with head, suppliers and other CFT team members for developing integral solutions. .
