Finance Manager

About the job:We're hiring a Finance Manager for one of our portfolio companies. We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager who can take complete ownership of the company's finance function. This is a versatile role covering accounting, taxation, compliance, cash flow, reporting, inventory, project costing, and financial controls. We are looking for someone who can manage day-to-day finance operations while also helping the leadership team make better business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage books of accounts, monthly closing, and financial statements.

2. Prepare MIS reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow projections.

3. Manage GST, TDS, income tax, audits, and other statutory compliances.

4. Oversee customer invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations.

5. Track project-wise revenue, costs, margins, and profitability.

6. Manage inventory accounting and controls across warehouses, offices, and customer project locations.

7. Track stock inward, outward, transfers, installation, returns, damaged stock, and goods in transit.

8. Conduct regular physical stock reconciliations and investigate inventory differences.

9. Monitor receivables, payables, and overall working capital.

10. Review purchase orders, vendor invoices, customer contracts, and commercial terms.

11. Establish finance processes, approval controls, and standard operating procedures.

12. Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, vendors, and internal teams.

Comfortable working at both an operational and strategic level.10. Ability to independently handle inventory reconciliations, overdue customer payments, monthly account closing, and management reporting with equal ownership.11. Interested in building and strengthening the finance function of a growing technology company operating across software, IoT hardware, and enterprise projects.12. Comfortable working closely with the leadership team and contributing to the development of financial systems required to scale the business.13. This role is not limited to accounting or compliance and requires ownership across finance operations and business support.14.
