Enterprise Business Development - Internship (WFH)

About the internship:Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Company Research & Opportunity Tracking

1. Research and track large UK-based companies in the industrial, manufacturing, and energy sectors with 100M+ turnover or 500+ employees.

2. Use Companies House, public records, and legal filings to identify key business opportunities and trigger events.

3. Track developments such as SAP S/4HANA upgrades, factory closures, company spin-offs, mergers, acquisitions, and private equity changes.

B. Initial Legal & Risk Check

1. Conduct first-level checks of target companies' data systems, including ERP, WMS, and CMMS.

2. Identify potential risks that could affect a deal, including ongoing lawsuits, regulatory restrictions, and sensitive personal data considerations.

3. Flag relevant legal and compliance concerns for further review by the deal team.

C. Finding Key Decision Makers

1. Identify senior leaders responsible for relevant business and technology decisions.

2. Find and verify professional contact details for key decision-makers, particularly General Counsel, CFO, CIO, and CDO roles.

D. Summary Report & Handover

1. Consolidate research findings into concise, one-page company summaries.

2. Document relevant information about the company's software systems, data size, and key business trigger events.

3. Stipend Structure:

Fixed pay: ₹ 15,000 - 25,000 /month

This is a 100% analytical, back-office research role. Interns will be responsible for intelligence gathering and research only and will not be required to conduct cold calls or direct outreach.
