Graphic Design & UI/UX - Internship

About the internship:

As a graphic design & UI/UX Intern, you will work on branding, graphic design and digital experiences for brands under SOR Group. You will be involved in real projects from ideation through execution, working across different formats and requirements. The role requires an understanding of both visual design and the thinking behind it.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Branding & graphic design:

1. Contribute to branding projects from concept and ideation through iterations and final execution

2. Develop logo concepts and visual identities based on brand positioning and personality

3. Create brand collateral including presentations, brochures, marketing materials, and other assets

4. Design social media content while maintaining consistency with brand visual languages

5. Adapt designs across different formats, platforms, and project requirements

B. UI/UX design:

1. Design user interfaces and digital experiences for websites, products, and digital platforms

2. Create wireframes, layouts, and visual designs with attention to usability and aesthetics

3. Translate concepts and requirements into clear, functional digital experiences

C. Research & brand understanding:

1. Understand the audience, positioning, personality, and objectives behind each brand before designing

2. Research visual references, competitors, target industries, and relevant design trends

3. Use research and strategic context to inform design decisions

D. Execution & collaboration:

1. Work with internal teams to understand requirements, develop concepts, and incorporate feedback

2. Manage multiple design tasks and iterations within project timelines

3. Maintain high attention to detail across files, formats, and final outputs

1. Demonstrate strong fundamentals in graphic design, composition, typography, color, and visual hierarchy2. Hold a active interest in branding and strategic design thinking beyond pure aesthetics3. Maintain familiarity with relevant graphic design and UI/UX software tools4. Ability to develop creative ideas and translate them into strong visual outputs5. Apply practical design judgment to work within real-world constraints of time, resources, and requirements6. Execute work at speed while maintaining quality and effectiveness across final deliverables7. Demonstrate openness to feedback, iteration, and learning new design tools and techniques8. Maintain clear communication and take ownership of assigned project deliverables
