PHP and Laravel Developer

Job descriptionWe are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with strong experience in Laravel to build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have solid backend fundamentals, experience with APIs, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend systems using PHP (Laravel framework)Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party servicesOptimize application performance, database queries, and API response timesDesign and manage database schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL)Implement authentication, authorization, and secure coding practicesWork with queues, cron jobs, and asynchronous processingDebug and resolve production issues efficientlyCollaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setupRequired SkillsStrong experience in PHP and LaravelGood understanding of REST API development and integrationsSolid knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL, indexing, and query optimizationExperience with Git/version controlFamiliarity with Linux/Unix environmentUnderstanding of MVC architecture and clean code practicesGood to HaveExperience with caching tools (Redis/Memcached)Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or similar)Experience with real-time features (WebSockets, Socket.io, etc.)Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript/jQuery)What Were Looking ForStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsAbility to work independently and take ownershipGood communication skills (important for remote work)Experience working on scalable or high-traffic applications is a plus
