Fixed Income Alternates Team (PMS And Alternatives) - Internship

About the internship:Looking for a motivated Intern to join our fixed income team at one of India's leading asset management companies (AMC). Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Fixed income research & market analysis:

1. Monitor macroeconomic trends, interest rate movements, and fixed income market developments.

2. Analyze bond markets, yield curves, credit spreads, and other fixed income instruments.

3. Provide periodic updates and insights on market conditions to the team.

B. Issuer and credit research:

1. Conduct detailed credit analysis of issuers, including corporate and sovereign entities.

2. Review financial statements, ratings, and market data to assess creditworthiness.

3. Assist in creating issuer profiles and maintaining a database of credit ratings and other relevant information.

C. Product research & portfolio analysis:

1. Study and benchmark PMS (Portfolio management services) and AIF (Alternative investment fund) products in the fixed income domain.

2. Analyze product features, performance metrics, and client value propositions.

3. Prepare MIS, performance tracking, and portfolio monitoring reports.

D. Data analytics & reporting:

1. Track competitor fixed income offerings across AMCs and financial institutions.

2. Analyze product positioning, pricing, and differentiation strategies.

3. Work with large datasets covering securities, portfolios, and market trends.

4. Create data visualizations and presentations for stakeholders.

5. Support automation and process improvements in reporting.

E. Client and market opportunities:

1. Assist in identifying new client segments and market opportunities for fixed income products.

2.
