About the Role Our client, an international logistics and transportation company, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Global Fleet Dispatcher & Logistics Coordinator. This is a fully remote position responsible for coordinating and managing the dispatch of vehicles and freight across our global network. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dispatch operations, route planning, and carrier management, coupled with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods, optimizing routes, and maintaining real-time visibility of our fleet operations from anywhere in the world. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage complex logistics challenges remotely and collaborate effectively with international teams. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the dispatch of vehicles and freight for international and domestic routes. Develop and optimize efficient delivery routes, considering factors such as time, distance, and cost. Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and clients to provide updates and address logistical concerns. Utilize dispatch software and tracking systems to monitor fleet movements and ensure timely deliveries. Manage carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and ensure service level agreements are met. Respond promptly to operational challenges, developing solutions to minimize disruptions and delays. Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including driver logs, delivery confirmations, and mileage. Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure seamless operations. Proactively identify opportunities to improve dispatch efficiency and reduce operational costs. Requirements Proven experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or fleet management. Strong understanding of transportation modes, routing principles, and carrier operations. Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and other logistics technology. Excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to work flexible hours, including potential evenings or weekends as needed for global operations. High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in logistics are a plus.
