Commodity Buyer

Job Title: Commodity Buyer

Main Responsibilities:

Manage metal commodities such as Stamping, Forging, Casting, and Lamination.

Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers.

Handle RFQs, quotation analysis, negotiations, and sourcing for new projects.

Procure raw materials and components while identifying local sourcing opportunities.

Create and manage purchase orders and track revisions.

Drive annual cost reduction and supplier negotiations.

Develop commodity sourcing strategies and manage spend.

Lead localization of imported parts for current and new projects.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams and regularly interact with global counterparts in Germany.
