About the Role

HUGGED is looking for a Social Media Manager Intern who understands content, not just posting.

You’ll help us decide what we should post, how we should present it, and how we can make our content more engaging, useful, relatable, and shareable.

The role will mainly focus on Instagram and YouTube, along with Snapchat and other social platforms when required.

What You’ll Do

Plan social media content and posting ideas

Come up with Reel ideas, hooks, concepts, and formats

Create ideas and content for carousels, static creatives, and posts.

Write or assist with carousel copy, captions, and social-media copy.

Research trends and adapt them into relevant HUGGED content.

Work with the video editor and design team to get content executed.

Repurpose content across Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat.

Help maintain a consistent content calendar.

Track what is performing and suggest what we should create more of.

Support relevant comment and community engagement when required.

What We’re Looking For

Someone who genuinely lives and understands social media.

Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, carousels, and YouTube content.

Good content sense and storytelling ability.

Ability to generate fresh post and Reel ideas consistently.

Basic understanding of Canva/design is a plus.

Good English and Hinglish copywriting skills.

Understanding of hooks, shares, saves, comments, and audience retention.

Comfortable working fast in a startup environment.

Portfolio / Sample Work

Share 2–3 social media pages, posts, carousels, or content ideas you’ve worked on.
