About the Company

Jay Air System Private Limited is an HVAC solutions company providing air-conditioning, ventilation, and engineering solutions for commercial and industrial projects. We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations, vendor management, cost optimization, and strategic sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the complete procurement and purchase function of the company.Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with business requirements.Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.Manage strategic sourcing for HVAC equipment, components, engineering materials, and project requirements.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit facilities, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.Review and approve vendor quotations and commercial comparisons as per company approval procedures.Monitor and manage Purchase Orders from placement through final delivery.Ensure timely procurement of materials as per project and operational requirements.Coordinate closely with Projects, Sales, Estimation, Stores, Accounts, Service, and Management teams.Develop alternative vendors and maintain a strong supplier network to ensure business continuity.Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.Resolve supplier-related issues including delays, quality concerns, shortages, replacements, and commercial disputes.Monitor market prices, material availability, and industry trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers and strategic vendors.Ensure procurement is carried out within approved budgets and company policies.Monitor inventory requirements in coordination with the Store and Project teams.Maintain proper procurement documentation, vendor records, quotation comparisons, and purchase reports.Prepare regular MIS and procurement performance reports for management.Guide and supervise the procurement/purchase team and ensure effective allocation of responsibilities.Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and procurement efficiency.Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and approval systems.Required Skills

Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement processes.Good understanding of HVAC, MEP, engineering, or industrial materials.Strong commercial and analytical skills.Excellent communication and coordination abilities.Strong market knowledge and supplier networking.Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/purchase management software.Ability to handle multiple projects and procurement requirements simultaneously.Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.Qualification

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field.

Preferred Candidate

710 years of relevant experience in Procurement / Purchase.Experience in HVAC, MEP, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Construction industries will be preferred.Strong vendor network and market knowledge.Experience in managing a procurement team.Should be capable of independently handling strategic and operational procurement activities.Key Performance Areas
