Sales and Marketing manager

Industry: Logistics / Freight Forwarding / Supply ChainKey Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day logistics and freight forwarding operations.Handle Import/Export, Air & Sea Freight and transportation activities.Coordinate with clients, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, CHA and vendors.Manage customer relationships and resolve shipment-related issues.Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing clients.Prepare quotations, negotiate rates and close business.Monitor shipment costs, revenue and profitability.Lead and manage the sales/operations team.Ensure timely documentation, shipment movement and delivery.Maintain MIS and operational reports.Ensure compliance with customs and freight-forwarding procedures.Requirements:Graduate in any discipline.5–10 years of relevant experience in Logistics/Freight Forwarding.Strong knowledge of Import & Export, Air/Sea Freight and Customs Clearance.Excellent communication, negotiation and customer-handling skills.Strong leadership and team-management abilities.Good knowledge of MS Excel/Office.Preferred: Candidates with experience in Freight Forwarding + Sales/Operations + Customs/CHA will be preferred.
