Staff Product Manager – AI-Native Platform (Customer Data & Marketing Cloud)

Enterprise-grade platform that will become the intelligence layer connecting customer data, marketing automation, AI agents, and retail experiences across a global cloud ecosystem.

Very little has been built today. As Staff Product Manager, you will be the founding product owner defining the product vision, platform capabilities, architecture, and long-term roadmap from 0 → 1 → Scale.

What You Will Do

Drive Platform Strategy & Roadmap (0 → 1): Define the long-term vision, core platform services, and API-first architecture for an AI-native Customer Data Platform (CDP).

Partner on Deep System Architecture: Work closely with Engineering Leaders, System Architects, and AI/ML teams to define microservice boundaries, data schemas, Kafka event pipelines, and integration contracts.

Pioneer AI-Native Capabilities: Author PRD-as-Code artifacts (Intent definitions, Skill specifications, and Policy configurations) for agentic AI workflows, LLM orchestration, and intelligent automation.

Lead Scrum Execution: Write actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications across Java microservices and platform integrations.

Validate & Instrument Quality: Design golden dataset scenarios to validate intelligent capabilities before release and define core reporting views and data schemas.

Drive Change & Adoption: Build process automations (using tools like Zapier/webhooks) and lead cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Design, and Executive Leadership.

Who You Are (Requirements)

8–15 years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record of building core platform/infrastructure products from scratch (0 → 1).

Strong technical fluency in distributed microservices, event-driven architectures (Kafka), RESTful APIs, webhooks, and CDPs.

Hands-on understanding of AI systems, agentic workflows, LLM orchestration, and intent/policy engines.

Comfortable reading and influencing system designs, API specs, and enterprise data models alongside senior engineering architects.

Experienced in writing technical product specs, tracking platform KPIs, and navigating complex technical trade-offs.

Based in Chennai or actively ready to relocate.

Nice to Have

Experience authoring PRD-as-Code artifacts (Intent specs, Skill definitions, Policy configs).

Background in MarTech, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), or B2B enterprise automation.

Exposure to automotive retail or dealer technology ecosystems.
