About Apnafan

Apnafan is a Telegram-first subscription platform for Indian creators. Creators run paid channels and get paid straight to their own bank through their own payment gateway — we never touch the money, and the audience stays theirs. Our pitch is simple: keep 95% of every subscriber; your money and your audience stay yours. We're early, lean, and moving fast.

The role

You'll sit close to the founders and own the creator relationship end-to-end — find the right creators, pitch them the flow, get them fully live (channel connected, gateway onboarded, first subscribers paying), and keep them happy and active. Part scouting, part sales, part onboarding, part support. If you have a sharp eye for spotting creators before they blow up and enjoy talking to people and solving their problems, this is for you.

What you'll do

Scout & reach out to potential creators across Telegram, Instagram, YouTube — spot who's building a real, payable audience and start the conversation.

Pitch the product clearly: the Telegram flow, the "keep your money and audience" value, and why it beats custodial alternatives.

Onboard gateways — walk creators through connecting Razorpay/Cashfree, hand-hold them via live video support and screen-shares until they're taking real payments.

Hold and grow the book — don't just acquire, retain: keep the creators you've signed active and happy, acquire new ones, and continuously gather their feedback for the product team.

Expand the function — as you learn the space, help us map adjacent creator needs (e.g. GST registration, CA/audit support, compliance) we can offer creators later. We want someone who can grow this role, not just execute it.

Use AI to go further, don't hide behind it. Lean on AI-assisted tools to research creators, draft outreach, and move faster — but the judgment, the relationships, and the pitch are yours. We want someone who uses AI as a lever, not a crutch.

What we're looking for

A keen eye for spotting potential creators — you can tell who's worth reaching out to and why.

Strong, warm communication — comfortable cold-reaching, pitching, and doing live video calls.

Genuinely understands the product and can explain a payment/onboarding flow simply.

Self-starter with high ownership — you chase outcomes, not tick tasks.

Fluent in [English / Hindi + regional a plus] and plugged into the Indian creator economy.

Bonus points

Prior creator outreach, community, sales, or founder's-office work.

Curiosity about the operational side — payments, GST, CA/audits, creator finance.

You already follow the creator space closely and have opinions on it.
