Cook (Vegan Kitchen) - Fresher

About the job:Vegan Heat is a 100% plant-based kitchen restarting inside Nova Regency Serviced Apartments in Ejipura, Austin Town, Bengaluru. We cook for guests and residents in the 50 apartments upstairs, and for delivery customers across Koramangala, HSR, and BTM. The kitchen is a full commercial gas kitchen on site.

Everything we make is entirely plant-based. There is no meat, no fish, no eggs, and no dairy in this kitchen at all. If you have not cooked this way before, that is fine, and we will train you, but you must be comfortable working without them. You will cook from a set menu and standard recipes. The menu is ours; your job is to cook it the same way every time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cook to order from a set menu across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.

2. Prepare and portion mise en place at the start of each shift.

3. Cook in-room orders for apartment guests and pack delivery orders for dispatch.

4. Follow standard recipes and portion sizes so every plate is consistent.

5. Keep the kitchen, equipment, and cold storage clean to FSSAI standards.

6. Track stock of vegetables, grains, tofu, and tempeh and flag what needs ordering.

7. Record wastage and report daily.

Our team covers front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and security. We hire people who take on responsibility early. The front desk here owns guest relations, reservations, collections, and the daily report to management, rather than only a check-in counter.
