Site Engineering (Civil) - Internship

About the internship:Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Material management at site

1. Monitor material receipt, consumption, availability, and balance at the project site

2. Verify materials received against project requirements

3. Report material shortages, excess quantities, damages, and balance stock to the concerned team

4. Coordinate with the procurement team for timely material requirements and replenishment

B. Labor management

1. Monitor daily labor deployment and attendance at site

2. Record labor arrival and punch-out timings

3. Ensure labor is deployed as per project requirements and planned activities

4. Monitor daily labor productivity and work completion

C. Project execution

1. Execute site activities as per the approved milestone sheet and project schedule

2. Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and required quality standards

3. Coordinate with the senior engineer/project manager for execution-related requirements and clarifications

4. Ensure planned activities are completed within the assigned timelines

D. Milestone and progress reporting

1. Track and report daily project progress against the approved milestone sheet

2. Report completed, ongoing, and pending activities on a daily basis

3. Immediately highlight delays, constraints, material shortages, labor requirements, and other site issues to the SE/PM

4. Maintain accurate daily site progress updates

E. Ground-level execution and quality checks

1. Conduct line marking and level marking as per drawings and site requirements

2. Monitor cement/concrete and water-mix work at site

3. Check painting, finishing, and other execution activities

4. Ensure actual site execution matches approved drawings and project requirements

5. Identify execution and quality deviations and report them to the SE/PM

F. Local resource identification

1. Identify and coordinate availability of local labor required for project execution

2. Identify local machinery, tools, equipment, and other resources required at site

3.
