Associate Legal Researcher

About the job:Key Responsibilities:

1. Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements, investment agreements, JV agreements, lease deeds, term sheets, NDAs, and other transaction documents.

2. Support the legal aspects of investments, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, real estate transactions, and other business opportunities undertaken by Optimus Capital.

3. Conduct legal due diligence covering property title, encumbrances, land records, approvals, regulatory compliance, corporate matters, and transaction risks.

4. Manage and coordinate corporate secretarial and statutory compliance requirements under the Companies Act and applicable regulations.

5. Work closely with management, business teams, external counsel, consultants, and government authorities on legal, regulatory, transactional, and dispute-related matters.

6. Advise management on RERA, real estate laws, property laws, contract law, corporate law, and other applicable regulatory developments.

7. Identify legal and regulatory risks associated with potential investments and business opportunities and provide practical, commercially sound risk-mitigation strategies.

8. Support the evaluation and structuring of new investments, partnerships, acquisitions, leasing arrangements, and other strategic transactions.

9. Monitor ongoing legal and regulatory developments relevant to Optimus Capital's investment portfolio and business interests.

10.
