About the job:We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Cartographer to join our GIS team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, editing, maintaining, and visualizing geospatial data and creating accurate, professional maps for various GIS projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create, edit, and maintain digital maps and GIS datasets.

2. Perform digitization, georeferencing, and spatial data editing.

3. Prepare thematic, topographic, and project-specific maps.

4. Work with satellite imagery, raster, and vector datasets.

5. Apply appropriate symbology, labels, legends, scale, and map layouts.

6. Perform basic spatial analysis and data validation.

7. Conduct GIS QA/QC to ensure accuracy and consistency.

8. Maintain and update geospatial databases and data layers.

9. Support project teams with mapping and geospatial data preparation.

10. Follow project specifications, standards, and timelines.

11. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.9. Educational Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, GIS & Remote Sensing, Geomatics10.
