Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, billing, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have experience in the logistics or transportation industry and possess strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Tally ERP, and Microsoft Excel. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally ERP. Maintain the General Ledger, Journal Entries, Cash Book, and Bank Book. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS). Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Monitor cash flow and prepare MIS reports. Billing & Operations Prepare customer invoices and transporter/vendor bills. Verify LR copies, PODs, trip sheets, fuel bills, and supporting documents. Coordinate with the operations team for billing accuracy. Track outstanding receivables and follow up for payments. Maintain trip-wise profitability and freight reconciliation. Taxation & Compliance Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.). Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings. Assist in Income Tax, ROC, and statutory compliance. Ensure proper maintenance of financial records for audits. Coordinate with Chartered Accountants and statutory auditors. Payroll & Administration Process employee payroll and reimbursements. Maintain employee salary records and statutory deductions. Assist in PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and Labour Law compliance. Reporting & Documentation Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports. Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules. Prepare management reports and financial analysis. Ensure accurate documentation and record management. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent. CA Inter or CMA qualification will be an added advantage. Experience 3–5 years of experience in Accounting. Prior experience in the Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain industry will be preferred. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Tally ERP Prime. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF, SUMIFS). Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills Experience with logistics billing and fleet accounting. Knowledge of e-Way Bills and E-Invoicing. Experience handling transporter payments and customer reconciliations. Familiarity with ERP systems and MIS reporting.
