Founding Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

We’re reimagining how users interact with SaaS products and looking for a founding engineer to help build the first version from zero alongside a founder with experience building at HubSpot, Asana, and Datadog.RoleWe are hiring a Founding Engineer with strong frontend, product, and design instincts. You will work directly with the founder to shape the product, prototype quickly, make architecture decisions, think through user problems, and turn an early thesis into a working product.The ideal person is a builder — someone who can move from an ambiguous idea to prototype, from prototype to usable product, and from usable product to scalable architecture. You should be excited by the opportunity to change how users interact with software and, eventually, the internet itself.What You’ll BuildYou will help build the first version of our core product, including:An SDK powered by frontier AI models and modern product experience protocolsBackend services with rules, resolution logic and intent inferenceEarly prototypes that help us test different wedges with customersProduction-ready systems as the product direction becomes clearerThis role will likely span React, TypeScript, Next.js, backend APIs, databases, event tracking, and AI-assisted workflows.Required Experience2–5 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated abilityStrong frontend engineering experience with React and TypeScriptAbility to design clean, scalable frontend component architectureExperience with backend APIs and databasesExperience taking ambiguous product ideas and turning them into working softwareStrong PlusExperience building 0-to-1 productsExperience at an early-stage startupExperience building SaaS productsWhat Success Looks LikeIn the first 30 days, you will:Understand our thesis, target customer, and product directionHelp refine the first product wedgeBuild and iterate on early prototypesSet up core frontend and backend foundationsMove quickly across product, design, and engineering decisionsIn the first 60–90 days, you will:Ship the first usable product prototypeHelp build demo experiences that clearly communicate the product visionCreate the first version of the adaptive frontend architectureHelp test the product with early users, customers, or design partnersIdentify what should become production-grade versus what should remain experimentalLeadership OpportunityThis is a founding role with significant upside.For the right person, strong performance can lead to a leadership position as the company grows.
