QA Lead Cum Scrum Master

Role

We are looking for a QA Lead cum Scrum Master who can lead the QA team, own overall QA quality, and facilitate Agile/Scrum processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the QA team and own QA deliverables.

Define overarching test strategy, test plans, automation frameworks, and final quality gates for multiple concurrent client applications.

Oversee manual and automation testing for web applications.

Lead Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Track quality risks, defects, and release readiness.

Coordinate with development teams to manage release cycles, assess deployment risks, and ensure stable, defect-free production drops.

Introduce and encourage AI-assisted testing practices when applicable.

Requirements & Experience

3+ years hands-on in Software Quality Assurance with leadership/mentoring experience.

Multi-Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage delivery, run Agile processes, and shift context effectively across multiple service accounts.

Strong proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium) and CI/CD pipeline integration.

Strong understanding of test strategy, test planning, and release quality.

Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiating, and leadership skills to manage client stakeholder dynamics and keep engineering teams aligned.
