About the job:

We are looking for a creative and driven Junior Video Editor with 1 to 2 years of professional experience to join our growing content team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing high-quality, engaging video content across multiple platforms, including YouTube, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, Course Recordings and paid advertisements.The ideal candidate has a strong eye for visual storytelling, a solid grasp of pacing and sound design, and the ability to turn raw footage into polished, high-performing videos. You will bring concepts to life while maintaining our brand's unique visual identity.

Key responsibilities:

1. Video Editing: Edit raw footage into high-quality videos, ensuring seamless transitions, logical pacing, and strong narrative flow.

2. Format Optimisation: Adapt long-form video content into highly engaging short-form clips (Reels, Shorts, Tiktoks) optimised for specific platform algorithms.

3. Visual Enhancement: Integrate basic motion graphics, dynamic text animations, lower thirds, and overlays to enhance viewer retention.

4. Audio Engineering: Clean up raw audio, mix voiceovers, and select appropriate sound effects (SFX) and royalty-free background music to match the video's mood.

5. Color Correction: Perform basic colour grading and correction to ensure visual consistency across all shots.

6. Asset Management: Organise, back up, and manage project files, raw footage, and digital assets efficiently.

7. Collaboration: Brainstorm with the creative team during pre-production and incorporate feedback quickly during the review process.
