Job description

About the internship:We're hiring a Frontend Developer Intern to help us take one of our AI-powered SaaS products from a working local product to a launch-ready beta.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You will work closely with the founder, full-stack developer, backend developer, and UI/UX designers to improve the product experience, complete important user flows, and make the application feel fast, reliable, and polished.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Build and improve customer-facing product screens: Work on onboarding, discovery, creation, content management, conversations, analytics, settings, and other core workflows.

2. Turn designs into production-ready interfaces: Work closely with UI/UX designers to convert Figma designs and product requirements into responsive, accessible, and reusable frontend components.

3. Improve existing user flows: Identify confusing steps, broken interactions, dead ends, inconsistent states, and unnecessary friction across the product.

4. Integrate frontend with backend APIs: Connect screens with APIs, authentication, permissions, database-driven states, background processes, and other backend services.

5. Handle all critical UI states: Build clear loading, empty, error, partial, stale, success, and disabled states so users always understand what is happening.

6. Improve responsive behavior: Make important workflows work properly across desktop, tablet, and mobile instead of only optimizing for large screens.

7. Improve accessibility: Work on keyboard navigation, focus states, semantic HTML, form labels, ARIA usage, contrast, and other accessibility requirements.

8. Maintain frontend consistency: Help standardize components, spacing, typography, forms, tables, buttons, modals, navigation, and interaction patterns across the application.

9. Improve frontend performance: Identify unnecessary renders, slow screens, heavy components, poor data-loading patterns, and other performance issues.

10. Write and maintain frontend tests: Add or update component, integration, and end-to-end tests for the workflows you work on.

11. Debug frontend issues: Investigate problems related to state, routing, forms, API responses, permissions, responsive layouts, browser behavior, and user interactions.

12. Work inside an existing codebase: Understand current patterns and architecture before changing them instead of rebuilding working systems unnecessarily.

13. Help prepare the product for beta: Fix launch-critical frontend issues, improve product consistency, and ensure important customer journeys work reliably before release.Who can apply:Only those candidates can apply who:are available for the work from home job/internshipcan start the work from home job/internship between 7th Oct'26 and 11th Nov'26are available for duration of 3 monthshave relevant skills and interestsare Computer Science Engineering students* Freshers looking for jobs may also applyStipend:INR₹ 5,000 - 7,000 /monthDeadline:[hidden]:59:59Other perks:Certificate, Letter of recommendation, Flexible work hours, 5 days a week, Job offerSkills required:HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, Node.js, GitHub, Frontend development, React, REST API, TypeScript, Next.js, Responsive Design, Debugging and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Other Requirements:1.
