Remote Medical Billing & Coding Specialist

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Medical Billing and Coding professionals to support healthcare operations through accurate documentation review, medical coding, billing processes, and insurance-related tasks. Key Responsibilities:

Review medical records and assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes

Process and manage healthcare billing documentation accurately

Verify insurance information and assist with authorization requirements

Review claims for accuracy and help resolve billing-related issues

Maintain compliance with industry guidelines and payer requirements

Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and insurance representatives

Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with healthcare privacy standards

Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in medical billing, coding, claims processing, or related healthcare operations preferred

Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and medical terminology

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and billing systems is a plus

Certifications such as CPC, CCS, RHIT, or similar credentials are welcome

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment
