Role Description

The Chief Technology Officer / Technical Co-Founder is a remote, equity-based leadership role responsible for defining and executing the company’s technology vision, product roadmap, prototype development, and long-term innovation strategy.

At the initial stage, this role will be without a fixed salary until the company secures funding or generates sufficient commercial revenue. The role is intended for a committed technology leader who is willing to participate in the company’s growth journey through an equity-based structure, with potential profit-sharing and long-term benefits based on mutual agreement.

The selected person will play a key role in helping the company create prototypes, develop product concepts, support investor presentations, assist in obtaining funding, and continue contributing until the product becomes commercially and globally successful.

Beyond technical expertise, the ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership qualities, integrity, ownership mindset, and the ability to understand global lifestyle trends and user-centered product design. This role requires someone who can think beyond technology and contribute to creating products that are practical, reliable, scalable, globally relevant, and aligned with modern customer expectations.

The CTO / Technical Co-Founder will collaborate closely with the leadership team on IT strategy, product development priorities, funding preparation, technical documentation, prototype planning, vendor coordination, and long-term commercialization. The role includes guiding project planning, setting technical standards, reviewing product quality, managing technical risks, mentoring future team members, evaluating tools and platforms, and ensuring that the company’s products are built with scalability, security, and performance in mind.

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead the company’s overall technology vision, product architecture, and development roadmap.

Lead the creation of working prototypes, proof of concepts, and product demonstrations for investor and market validation.

Support the company in preparing for funding by contributing to technical documentation, product strategy, investor presentations, and feasibility planning.

Guide software, hardware, platform, and product development decisions based on scalability, usability, security, and commercial viability.

Contribute to global product thinking, including lifestyle design, customer experience, usability, and market adaptability.

Work closely with the leadership team to align technology development with business goals, funding plans, and commercialization strategy.

Evaluate and select suitable technologies, development frameworks, vendors, platforms, and technical partners.

Build and mentor future technical teams as the company grows.

Maintain high standards of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and professional judgment.

Remain involved in the long-term journey of the product, including post-funding development, global launch, scaling, and ongoing improvement.

Compensation / Engagement Structure

This is an equity-based leadership opportunity at the initial stage.

No fixed monthly salary will be provided until the company secures funding or reaches an agreed commercial revenue stage.

Equity participation, profit-sharing, future salary structure, and long-term incentives will be discussed and finalized through a written mutual agreement.

The role is suitable for someone who is interested in joining as a long-term technology partner rather than a short-term employee.

The selected candidate should be willing to contribute to prototype development, investor readiness, funding support, product launch, and continuous improvement until the product achieves commercial and global success.

Qualifications

Strong background in Software Development, Product Architecture, and Technology Strategy, with hands-on experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.

Proven experience in product development, from concept and prototype stage through launch, iteration, and lifecycle management.

Ability to lead prototype creation, technical feasibility assessment, and investor-ready product demonstrations.

Strong leadership qualities, ownership mindset, and ability to guide teams and make responsible decisions.

High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical judgment in handling company strategy, product direction, data, and partnerships.

Ability to understand global lifestyle trends, customer behavior, product usability, and design expectations across different markets.

Solid understanding of cloud platforms, modern development frameworks, DevOps practices, software quality assurance, and scalable infrastructure.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business and investor-friendly language.

Experience working with startups, early-stage products, funding preparation, investor presentations, or global product launches is highly preferred.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Product Design, Business Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Prior experience as a CTO, Technical Co-Founder, Head of Engineering, VP Engineering, Product Technology Lead, or senior technology leader is highly beneficial.
