Structure Engineer - Internship (Part Time)

About the internship:Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Model, analyse, and design steel structures (portable cabins, prefab buildings, sheds, and PEB frames) in STAAD Pro as per IS 800, IS 875, and IS 1893

2. Calculate dead, live, wind, and seismic loads for each project based on site location and client requirements

3. Prepare and review GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and foundation layouts in AutoCAD

4. Prepare BOQs, steel weight calculations, and material estimates in Excel to support quotations

5. Design connections, base plates, and anchor bolt details for MS and light gauge steel structures

6. Coordinate with the fabrication and site teams to resolve design queries and ensure drawings are followed correctly

7. Visit project sites as required for measurements, inspections, and progress checks

8.
