UI/UX Design Intern

Location: Bengaluru — On-site (5 days a week)

Duration: 3 Months

Working Hours: 10 AM – 6 PM

Stipend: ₹15,000/month

About the Role

We’re looking for a UI/UX Design Intern to work closely with our founder and product team on building B2B SaaS products.

This role is not just about making beautiful interfaces.

You’ll be expected to understand complex problems, break them down, question assumptions, and find simple and creative ways to solve them.

You’ll work across the entire product design process:

Understand → Define → Explore → Design → Prototype → Test → Iterate

What You'll Do

Understand complex B2B workflows and turn them into simple product experiences

Work closely with the founder and product team to define and solve product problems

Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI

Explore multiple solutions before settling on a direction

Conduct user and competitor research

Create and maintain scalable design systems and components

Prototype ideas quickly and test different approaches

Work closely with developers to bring designs into the product

Continuously improve the product based on user feedback and data

Explore creative ways to use AI in product design and workflows

How We Expect You to Think

This is the most important part of the role.

We’re looking for someone who practices design thinking and first-principles thinking.

Instead of asking:

> “How do other SaaS products solve this?”

We want you to ask:

> “What is the actual problem we're trying to solve? Why does it exist? What does the user really need?”

You should be comfortable:

Questioning assumptions

Breaking complex problems down into fundamentals

Exploring multiple possible solutions

Finding simple solutions to complicated problems

Thinking from the user's perspective

Balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints

Defending your design decisions with reasoning

Changing your mind when you discover something better

What We're Looking For

Strong foundation in UI/UX design

Comfortable with Figma

Good understanding of user flows, interaction design, typography, spacing, hierarchy, and visual design

Strong problem-solving ability

Creative and curious mindset

Ability to think independently

Strong attention to detail

Comfortable working with ambiguity

Willingness to receive feedback and iterate quickly

Bonus Points

Experience designing SaaS or B2B products

Experience with complex workflows or data-heavy products

Experience building design systems

Experience with AI products

Basic understanding of HTML/CSS

Experience with user research or usability testing
