Quality Assurance (QA) Web Application Testing Internship

Axinq Technologies private limited is hiring for a Quality Assurance (QA) / Web Application Testing Intern!

Responsibilities

Perform manual exploratory, functional, cross-browser, and regression testing across important user journeys.

Create structured test cases, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria from product requirements.

Identify, document, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps, console logs, screenshots, and screen recordings.

Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman or cURL, including endpoint behavior and payload validation.

Review UI and UX behavior across different screen sizes, browsers, and devices, highlighting responsiveness issues and inconsistencies.

Assist with basic end-to-end automated testing when required.

Requirements

Suitable for an entry-level candidate or intern with an interest in software quality assurance and web application testing.

Foundational understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle.

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, HTTP methods, status codes, and browser Developer Tools.

Understanding of API testing basics using Postman or cURL.

Strong written communication skills for documenting edge cases and detailed bug reports.

Analytical thinking and close attention to detail.

Familiarity with Git and project tracking tools such as Jira, Linear, or GitHub Issues is an advantage.

Basic SQL or database-querying knowledge for validating persisted data is a bonus. .
