Interior Design - Internship

About the internship:We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Interior Designer Intern to support the design and development of our new office space.

The intern will get hands-on exposure to workplace interior design, space planning, furniture selection, vendor coordination, material selection, and execution. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build practical experience by working on a real office setup from the concept stage through execution.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing the overall interior design concept and theme for the new office.

Prepare space planning and layout concepts based on seating requirements, functional areas, meeting rooms, cabins, reception, pantry, breakout areas, etc.

Create mood boards, colour palettes, material boards, and design presentations.

Assist with preparation and modification of 2D layouts and 3D designs/renders.

Research and suggest suitable furniture, lighting, flooring, partitions, d cor, and other interior elements.

Assist in preparing BOQs, material specifications, furniture schedules, and cost estimates.

Coordinate with architects, contractors, interior vendors, furniture suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Visit the office site to understand measurements, site conditions, and execution requirements.

Support the team in monitoring design implementation and ensuring execution is aligned with the approved design.

Assist in identifying practical and cost-effective design solutions.

Maintain design drawings, references, samples, quotations, and project documentation.
