With operations across Switzerland and Germany, Swissplast Ag combines innovative production technologies, quality, and customer-focused solutions to serve a diverse range of industries.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced SAP Team Lead / SAP Business Process Lead to take ownership of SAP-related processes across logistics, purchasing, order management, and manufacturing operations.The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on SAP expertise with proven leadership experience and a practical understanding of cross-functional business processes. You will work closely with different departments, drive process improvements, manage SAP-related responsibilities, and ensure knowledge is effectively transferred across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate SAP-related activities across logistics, purchasing, order management, and productionSupport and optimize SAP processes within SD, MM, and PPManage cross-functional SAP projects and process-improvement initiativesActs as a bridge between the European and Indian teams, translating the German team’s requirements into English and clearly communicating them to the Indian team through regular meetings and discussions.Take responsibility for department-level SAP activities and coordinate team members where requiredAnalyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutionsCreate, maintain, and improve SAP reports and business documentationUse SAP reporting and advanced Excel capabilities to analyze data and support business decisionsIdentify process gaps and proactively recommend improvementsEnsure consistent SAP processes and effective knowledge sharing across teamsQuickly learn company-specific SAP processes and independently take ownership of new responsibilitiesTrain and support colleagues and transfer SAP knowledge effectively to other team membersRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of strong SAP experience, ideally in logistics, purchasing, order management, or related business processesHands-on experience with SAP SD, MM, and PPProven experience working on cross-functional SAP projectsDemonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage people and take responsibility for department-level activitiesStrong understanding of business processes within a manufacturing environmentExperience in plastics manufacturing or a similar production environment is highly desirableExcellent Excel skills and solid experience working with SAP reports and dataNative or bilingual English proficiencyGerman communication skills are MandatoryStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent communication and documentation skillsDetail-oriented, proactive, and confident approach to workAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with different departmentsStrong ability to learn company-specific SAP processes quickly and transfer knowledge to othersWhat We Are Looking ForThe successful candidate will be a hands-on SAP professional and confident leader who can bridge the gap between business operations and SAP.You should be comfortable taking ownership, solving problems independently, communicating with stakeholders, and driving improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Experience in plastics or a comparable production environment will be a strong advantage.
