You will be responsible for understanding requirements, planning test coverage, identifying defects, and ensuring a seamless user experience across web and API interfaces.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases based on functional requirements and specificationsPerform manual testing of web-based applications, APIs, and mobile apps (if applicable)Identify, record, and track bugs using JIRA or similar toolsWork closely with developers and product teams to understand features and resolve issuesMaintain clear and concise documentation of test results, reports, and testing processesValidate bug fixes, regression cases, and perform smoke testingPerform cross-browser and device compatibility testingAnalyze and debug issues using logs, browser developer tools, and relevant toolsMandatory Tools & SkillsPostman – for API testingChrome Developer Tools – for UI inspection, console & network analysisJIRA – for defect tracking and test managementLog Analysis – basic familiarity with reading and debugging logsStrong command of test case writing, reporting, and scenario-based testingGood-to-Have SkillsExperience with tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or ConfluenceExposure to Agile/Scrum methodologyUnderstanding of database queries (basic SQL)Experience testing responsive designs and mobile UIs
