Android Developer

Job Description: A full-stack Android developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for the Android operating system that provides indoor map rendering and navigation functionality. They will work with a team of developers, designers, and project managers to create a seamless navigation experience for users.Responsibilities:Design and develop high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java and Kotlin code for the indoor navigation application.Implement indoor navigation algorithms and integrate with location-based services and sensors, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and accelerometer, to provide accurate indoor positioningUse Android Studio and other development tools to build, test, and debug the applicationWork with designers and project managers to ensure that the application meets all requirements and is released on scheduleCollaborate with other developers to integrate with backend systems and APIsWrite clean, maintainable, and testable code that adheres to best practicesTroubleshoot and debug issues, and update and maintain existing applicationsContinuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiencyUnderstand the full mobile development life cycle, from concept to deploymentContinuously monitor the market for new indoor navigation technologies and techniques, and incorporate them into the application as appropriate.Requirements: The suitable candidate should have experience with the following:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languagesExperience with Android SDK and Android StudioExperience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end servicesExperience with third-party libraries and APIsExperience with indoor navigation algorithms and location-based servicesFamiliarity with Git and version controlUnderstanding of design principles and material designStrong debugging and troubleshooting skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and teamwork skillsStrong sense of ownership and drive to deliver high-quality results
