Fruit Processing Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development: Formulate and test new fruit products from concept through bench trials, pilot plant scaling, and commercial line production.Quality Assurance and Testing: Conduct laboratory analysis on parameters such as sugar content, acidity, moisture levels, and microbial load.Process Optimization: Monitor production yields and efficiency while troubleshooting machinery or recipe issues during fruit sorting, washing, peeling, pulping, and thermal processing.Regulatory Compliance: Maintain rigorous safety, hygiene, and documentation standards aligned with frameworks.Shelf Life and Packaging: Design stability studies and select appropriate packaging solutions including aseptic systems to prevent spoilage and extend product shelf life.
