Job Description: A medical college in Kolkata is looking to hire a Gynecology Assistant Professor on a full-time basis. You will assist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology practical sessions, tutorials, and examinations alongside senior faculty. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Obstetrics and Gynaecology practical sessions, laboratory demonstrations, and tutorial groups for MBBS students per NMC CBME curriculum.; Deliver Obstetrics and Gynaecology lectures on assigned topics as per departmental teaching schedule and NMC curriculum requirements.; Assist in MBBS internal examinations, spot tests, practical assessment conduct, and student performance evaluation.; Conduct obstetric and gynaecological patient management, labour ward duties, and antenatal clinic sessions.; Contribute to Obstetrics and Gynaecology research projects and submit publications per NMC assistant professor academic requirements.; Publish OBG clinical research, obstetric audit findings, and gynaecological surgical outcomes in indexed journals.; Participate in departmental faculty development programs, CME activities, and OSCE station development.; Mentor MBBS students during practical sessions and provide academic guidance for examination preparation.; Assist the HOD and senior faculty in departmental administrative and NMC inspection compliance activities. Qualifications Required: MS OBG, DNB OBG from a recognized institution with valid MCI/NMC registration.; Minimum 3 years of post-qualification teaching, research, or clinical experience as per NMC assistant professor eligibility.; NMC teacher eligibility compliance: postgraduate qualification with required service and experience criteria.; Familiarity with CBME curriculum, OSCE conduct, and formative assessment tools.; Interest in undergraduate medical education, Obstetrics and Gynaecology research, and academic faculty development.
