Role & responsibilities

Key Account Manager Sales Support & Business Development

Experience: 23 years minimum

Industry: Automotive / Auto Components preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Handle OE customers and aftermarket dealers for day-to-day sales support and coordination.

Manage order follow-up, order processing, dispatch coordination, and delivery tracking.

Coordinate with internal sales, production, dispatch, accounts, and logistics teams to ensure timely order execution.

Follow up for pending payments, statement of accounts, outstanding clearance, and reconciliation with customers.

Maintain regular communication with customers through emails, calls, and reports.

Prepare and share order status, outstanding, payment, and sales reports.

Develop robust customer relationships and ensure timely resolution of customer queries/issues.

Support current business development, customer acquisition, product introduction, and follow-ups for recent requirements.

Track customer requirements, quotations, enquiries, and ensure timely follow-up for conversion.

Coordinate internally for new orders, samples, pricing, approvals, and commercial requirements.

Ensure accurate documentation and timely closure of customer-related activities.

Key Skills:

Excellent customer handling & communication skills

Strong follow-up and coordination skills

Good knowledge of MS Excel, email communication, and sales reports

Strong commercial understanding of orders, payments, outstanding, and statements

Proactive, organized, and target-oriented approach

Preferred Candidate: Experience in automotive/OE customers, aftermarket distribution, or auto-component sales support will be preferred. .
